After roping in Katrina Kaif as the ambassador for Nakshatra Diamond jewellery, Gitanjali Group has now appointed Bipasha Basu as its new brand ambassador for Gili.

Gitanjali Group chairman Mehul Choksi said, "In our effort to find the right brand ambassador for Gili - a brand of mass appeal, we have stumbled upon the gorgeous and vivacious actress Bipasha Basu to endorse her alluring personality on its products, which is a rhapsody of the traditional and modern. Not only were we enthusiastic about the brand fit, but also we feel that Bipasha lends a refreshing look to the brand. We are excited about having her on board as the new face for Gili."

Basu said, "It gives me immense pleasure to be associated with a prestigious brand like Gili. I personally endorse it as I can totally depend on the brand value. Basu's upcoming film – Bachna Ae Haseeno from Yash Raj Films is slated to release this month. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba and has been directed by Siddharth Anand.
