Sarkar Raj is being ruled by Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Bachchan. The three powerful actors come together with full force to save the ship of Ramgopal Varma from drowning, as his last offering Ramgopal Varma Ki Aag had almost collected zero reviews and shameful comments. In spite of its strong promotion and some influential star casts, the film turned out to be a complete laughing stock. Sarkar Raj is an opportunity for Ramu to bring to the mind of the mass that he is the same director who gave them hit films like, Rangeela, Company, Satya, and many more. The film is equally important for the Bachchans for establishing their dominion in the big, big world of Bollywood as everyday questions erupt about their prowess in the film industry. Sarkar Raj lures the audience in many ways. The film caught the attraction of all when the unveiling of the movie coincides with the date of Ash-Abhi’s wedding anniversary and the duo made their presence felt through video conferencing from Miami. Getting Amitabh, Ash, Abhi and Ramu on the same platform, media flooded them with questions and interestingly, Ash-Abhi’s anniversary garnered the entire attention rather than their film. In this special occasion, Amitabh remarked that no other director other than Ramu challenged his acting capability. All eyes set on the release of the film as they would get to see Aishwarya's pairing opposite Abhishek first time ever on-screen after marriage. This angle added another plus point to the film for dragging audience to the theater.

Another curiosity added to the film is Abhishek’s role. It is said that Ramu had earlier thought to kill Abhishek but he had to rethink on the climax for viewers as it would be against their choice. The music launch of the film too pulled many attentions for the uniqueness of the film and its music. Varma is leaving no stone unturned to promote his film. He along with co-producer Pravin Nischol has tied up with a mobile company, which has conceptualized and designed a game based on the storyline of the film. The game is based on Shankar Nagre, the protagonist of the film played by Abhishek Bachchan. The players need to solve a murder mystery. The game was launched at a glittering function by superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Bachchan.

Now that Sarkar Raj is ready to see the light of the day, the Bachchans on bare foot covered miles from home to Siddhivinayak to seek the blessing of the divine God. They ardently wanted Sarkar Raj to collect maximum tickets at the ticket counter and registered third hit of the year in the box office after Jodha Akhbar and Race.
