Who said actresses can’t sing? Well, you will have to think again, for actress Sonali Kulkarni has a captivating voice besides her acting skills. She has sung a song for Italian film ‘Fucco Di Su Me’.

Singing is not a problem for the actress, as it’s her love. More over, she was trained in classical singing for three years and had sung for a Marathi film earlier. She said that doing ‘Fucco Di Su Me’ had taught her a lot as an actress besides coming to know other’s culture and tradition. She added that she would love to explore her potentials.

The actress is thrilled to be honored at the Busto Arsizio Film Festival for her performance in this film. She said that the love and appreciation of the Italians on her touch her heart more than the award. She added that the people of the Italian town of Torre del Greco have given her the title ‘Ambassador of Corals’ for her role as a girl who collects coral and turn them into beautiful pieces of art.

She went through months of Italian classes for her historical character as Graziella in the film. She said that the hard work she had put into the film has paid off well. She added that it’s an honor to work a legend like actor Omar Sharif. He won the best actor award for the film at the festival.
